I agree I have had IE8 downloaded in beta version for a while and although it does break nearly every site it is a massive improvement from previous IE versions, lets hope all IE users download this version. I am also impressed with the improvements and hope that this is how microsoft are moving forward. I am still a huge fan of firefox and although having downloaded chrome - I just love firefox for its plugins.

Congratulations on your win guys, fantastic work. However I should point out that Magnitude weren't the only British agency outside London to be shortlisted, as your article states. Hyperlaunch, who I think are based in Bristol, won the Best Celebrity/Fan Website award for the Annie Lennox official website.

I use a MacBook Pro 1.83 Ghz, 2GB Intel Core Duo Processor.
But I think your PC should be able to cope with the rendering!
The fastest way is to render to your local machine and then save to an external harddrive to save space. I would recommend switching to a Mac if you are getting into video editing. The best software is undoubtably Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects.
Not too sure on the PCs. All the best.

I have placed a little blog entry in the 'Creative' section on what output settings I used if anyone is interested. I recommend Vimeo as a video sharing site, they give you heaps of control over your own video... which is something places like YouTube don't!

Enjoy. And leave comments on the Vimeo page too!

I'd also love to see this type of thing replacing the tedious "captcha" fields that seem to be plaguing every form on the web at the moment.

Well said Jude!

I still blows my mind sometimes when large organisations are marketing new products, services, etc and still think (or don't think!) of online as a afterthought, following more traditional marketing means.

Online really needs to be considered from the start as a hugely important part of any marketing campaign. Don't fear it, with the help of Magnitude you can embrace it :)
