Saturday Kitchen – My Hour and Half of fame.
After a forray into newspaper media The Sun and following the successful week of mentions on BBC 6 Music, I have tried my hand at TV. I appeared on BBC 1’s Saturday Kitchen with James Martin on 12/04/08.
Due to BBC policy about wanting “Bright and Exciting” people we were told that we are not allowed to wear Black/Grey/White/Beige/Bro
This weeks guests were Lawrence Keogh, Jason Atherton and Sarah Brightman all of whom were very nice people.
It was an early start getting up at 2 and leaving leeds at 3 am driving all the way to Central London.
The food was excellent, but unfortunately there wasnt time to keep shovelling it in whilst we were filming. Apart from when i was told to keep eating as I was clearly enjoying some and it looks good on screen.
All in all an excellent day, all the meals cooked were really good and was well worth it.

I myself will be appearing on Saturday kitchenthis week (24th october) and am also stuck for something to wear.. Will just have to order something online and hope it arrives by tomorrow morning .. I am looking forward to it.. Will be travelling down the night before to save such an early rise on the Saturday morning.. Fingers crossed I don’t say anything stoopid !!!:0)

Hi there, I just now found your website whilst I’m browsing on the Internet as I am seeking some material on wall ovens!. I think it’s an interesting blog so I have bookmarked this site and intend to come back tomorrow to give it a better read when I can give it more time.
