Saturday Kitchen - My Hour and Half of fame.

Saturday KitchenAfter a forray into newspaper media The Sun and following the successful week of mentions on BBC 6 Music, I have tried my hand at TV. I appeared on BBC 1’s Saturday Kitchen with James Martin on 12/04/08.

Due to BBC policy about wanting “Bright and Exciting” people we were told that we are not allowed to wear Black/Grey/White/Beige/Brown tops. Which is everything I wear except my Christmas red jumper, and thus me and Lucy were matching in red along with most of the set :D

This weeks guests were Lawrence Keogh, Jason Atherton and Sarah Brightman all of whom were very nice people.

It was an early start getting up at 2 and leaving leeds at 3 am driving all the way to Central London.

The food was excellent, but unfortunately there wasnt time to keep shovelling it in whilst we were filming. Apart from when i was told to keep eating as I was clearly enjoying some and it looks good on screen.

All in all an excellent day, all the meals cooked were really good and was well worth it.
