After a forray into newspaper media The Sun and following the successful week of mentions on BBC 6 Music, I have tried my hand at TV. I appeared on BBC 1’s Saturday Kitchen with James Martin on 12/04/08.

Due to BBC policy about wanting “Bright and Exciting” people we were told that we are not allowed to wear Black/Grey/White/Beige/Brown tops. Which is everything I wear except my Christmas red jumper, and thus me and Lucy were matching in red along with most of the set

This weeks guests were Lawrence Keogh, Jason Atherton and Sarah Brightman all of whom were very nice people.

It was an early start getting up at 2 and leaving leeds at 3 am driving all the way to Central London.

The food was excellent, but unfortunately there wasnt time to keep shovelling it in whilst we were filming. Apart from when i was told to keep eating as I was clearly enjoying some and it looks good on screen.

All in all an excellent day, all the meals cooked were really good and was well worth it.
